Abbas Issues Decree Postponing PA Elections to September 2027

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has issued a presidential decree postponing parliamentary and presidential elections to September 11, 2027, Kan 11 and Walla reported, citing the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.

The decree specifies that both parliamentary and presidential elections will take place on the same date, formally annulling a previous decision to hold legislative elections on November 28, 2026.
