Defense Minister Israel Katz has instructed the IDF to raise vigilance and prepare for any scenario in the Gaza Strip ahead of October 7, news website Srugim reported.

According to reports by Srugim and Makor Rishon, the directive was issued following intelligence indicating intentions by Hamas to attack Israeli troops operating in the enclave. In response to the threat of attacks, the military stepped up its operational readiness in the field.
