Alleged ShinyHunters Hacker Group Leader Arrested in Amsterdam

A 24-year-old man was arrested in the Netherlands for allegedly leading the ShinyHunters syndicate, prompting an FBI warning to the group.

Dutch police and the FBI have arrested a 24-year-old man in Amsterdam suspected of leading the global hacking syndicate ShinyHunters, Fox News reported.

Following the arrest, FBI Assistant Director Brett Leatherman addressed members of the hacking group in a video posted on X, warning them: "We know how to find you." According to The Jerusalem Post, Leatherman urged the group to get in touch with the agency and stressed that the arrest in the Netherlands serves as a warning to them.
