Clashes During Olive Harvest in Binyamin: Foreign Journalist Attacked, IDF Investigating

Dozens of masked individuals threw stones and attacked Palestinians and foreign media crews during an olive harvest in the Binyamin area, outlets Maariv and N12 reported. During the incident, Washington Post photographer Heidi Levine was attacked, knocked to the ground, and reportedly had her equipment stolen.

The Israel Defense Forces stated that a violent confrontation occurred in which a media worker was harmed, adding that the incident will be examined. A senior military official noted an increase in clashes surrounding the olive harvest season. So far, no suspects have been arrested, and further details have not yet been released.
