Croatia: Around 150 Hajduk Split Ultras Attack Ajax Fans in Split

Around 150 Hajduk Split supporters attacked visiting Ajax fans on the city's promenade, prompting police to seal off access roads.

Violent clashes broke out along the Riva promenade in the Croatian city of Split between supporters of local club Hajduk Split and Dutch side Ajax, media outlets Jutarnji list and Index.hr reported.

According to the reports, approximately 150 members of Hajduk Split's "Torcida" ultras group attacked a group of Ajax fans who were under police escort and protection at the time.

Following the brawl, local police closed off access routes leading to the promenade. Further details regarding injuries or arrests have not yet been released.
