Elon Musk ordered a slowdown and restrictions on Starlink satellite services relied upon by the Ukrainian military, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing US officials, alongside coverage by the South China Morning Post and Channel 7.

According to the reports, the restrictions were imposed without advance warning, hampering battlefield communications and drone operations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the limitations prevented Kyiv from operating certain interception systems. The Jerusalem Post noted that Ukrainian officials voiced concern the move may have been made at the request of Donald Trump.

Musk, SpaceX, and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment, and further details have not yet been released.
