Explosion at Intel Plant in Kiryat Gat: Three Seriously Injured

Three people were seriously injured in an explosion and subsequent fire at an Intel plant in Kiryat Gat, outlets Globes and Arutz 7 reported. The injured suffered burns and were evacuated to Soroka Medical Center for treatment.

According to initial police assessments, the fire was triggered by an exploding gas cylinder. Police and Fire and Rescue services stated that the incident was localized and brought under control, while the Ministry of Environmental Protection raised concerns of a hazardous materials incident.
