FBI Arrests LA Man for Threatening to Attack Chabad Preschool

A 51-year-old man was detained on suspicion of planning a Molotov cocktail attack against a Jewish preschool in Los Feliz.

The FBI arrested a 51-year-old Los Angeles man on suspicion of planning to attack a Chabad preschool using Molotov cocktails, Walla and The Jerusalem Post reported, citing the New York Post.

The suspect, Steven Carlos Duenas, a resident of the Los Feliz neighborhood, was detained earlier this month after allegedly posting explicit threats against Jews and synagogues on social media. According to a criminal complaint filed in federal court, Duenas explicitly targeted the local Chabad center's JEMS preschool, with investigators suspecting he intended to cause mass casualties.
