Flydubai Incident: Mossad Investigates; Minister Claims Attacker Sought to Crash Plane

The Mossad is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident aboard the Flydubai flight that diverted to Saudi Arabia, newspaper Maariv reported. Meanwhile, network CNA reported that a security minister stated the assailant acted as a terrorist and sought to crash the plane to kill Israeli passengers.

According to news outlet Behadrey Haredim, a senior executive among the passengers recounted participating in subduing the attacker inside the cockpit, describing a violent struggle and being covered in blood. Further official details regarding the findings of the security probe have not yet been released.
