Four Italian Soldiers Injured in Training Incident in Latvia

Four Italian soldiers were injured in a shooting incident during military exercises at the Ādaži training area in Latvia, according to reports by LSM and Hromadske. Latvia's National Armed Forces stated that the incident took place late Friday afternoon.

According to Hromadske, the incident was a friendly-fire event in which a machine gun accidentally discharged toward an infantry fighting vehicle carrying the troops, who belong to Italy's 11th Bersaglieri Regiment.
