Gynecologist Convicted of Raping Nine Patients Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison

An Israeli court has sentenced a gynecologist to 14 years in prison after he was convicted of raping nine of his patients, newspapers Haaretz and The Jerusalem Post reported.

According to the report in The Jerusalem Post, the court found in its ruling that the physician, identified by the surname Alkalai, presented the sexual acts he committed as part of routine medical examinations or legitimate medical treatments required for the women who visited his clinic.
