Haredi Protesters Disrupt Shas Rally in Modi'in Illit; Police Escort Deri Out

Ultra-Orthodox youths disrupted a Shas election rally in the city of Modi'in Illit, news outlets Arutz 7 and network i24NEWS reported. According to the reports, demonstrators attempted to break into the building where party chairman Aryeh Deri and an additional member of Knesset were present.

Following the unrest and the breach attempt, police were forced to intervene at the scene to assist Deri in safely leaving the premises.
