IDF: 170 Terrorists Killed in Gaza Were Misrepresented as Journalists

The IDF has revealed that 170 terrorists from Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad killed in the Gaza Strip were misrepresented as innocent journalists, The Jerusalem Post and news outlet JDN reported. According to the reports, the military published an initial list of ten operatives who were portrayed worldwide as content creators, but actively attacked security forces, with some having participated in the October 7 massacre.

According to The Jerusalem Post, the identities and terrorist affiliations of the operatives were verified following extensive research, based on documents published by the terror groups themselves and materials seized by IDF troops during ground operations. Concurrently, reports noted the elimination of another operative who had been presented as a journalist.
