IDF: Hamas Operative Who Took Part in Oct. 7 and Posed as Journalist Killed in Gaza

IDF forces carried out a strike in the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated Muhammad Abd al-Aziz Muhammad Najar, an operative in the military wing of the Hamas terror group, news outlets Srugim and Arutz Sheva reported. According to the military, Najar infiltrated Israeli territory and took part in the October 7 massacre in southern communities.

The IDF stated that following the strike, Najar was presented as a journalist, omitting his affiliation with Hamas and its military wing. The targeted strike was also reported by Maariv. Further details regarding the circumstances of the operation have not yet been released.
