Iran Offers Deal to Reopen Strait of Hormuz Within Seven Days

Iran has proposed an arrangement to the United States under which the Strait of Hormuz would reopen to traffic within seven days, provided Washington accepts Tehran's conditions, according to reports by the BBC and the Bernama news agency.

According to the reports, which also appeared in People Daily, Tehran put forward a plan to reopen the strategic maritime route, but made the move conditional on the US administration agreeing to the demands presented to it.

At this stage, no official details have been provided regarding the specific conditions set by Iran, and Washington has yet to release a formal response to the proposal.
