IRGC Claims Strike on Tanker in Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that it struck a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, Greek newspaper Ta Nea reported. According to the report, Iranian forces claimed the vessel was targeted after following an "unauthorized" course.

Concurrently, Iranian newspaper Tehran Times reported that the Revolutionary Guards stated a fire had broken out aboard a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrier in the strait, issuing a warning against unauthorized vessel transit through the strategic waterway.
