Israeli Daycare Assistant Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Abusing Toddlers

An Israeli court sentenced a daycare assistant from the "Sigal's Daycare" facility to ten years in prison after convicting her of 277 counts of violence and abuse against toddlers under her care, broadcaster Kan 11 and network i24NEWS reported.

According to a report by news outlet Srugim, the court also ordered the defendant to pay a total of 450,000 shekels in compensation to the parents of the children.
