Jerusalem: Toddler Dies After Failing to Wake from Sleep

A year-and-a-half-old toddler was found without a pulse and not breathing at a residence in Jerusalem's Bayit VeGan neighborhood after failing to wake from his sleep, news outlets Srugim and JDN reported.

Medical teams from Magen David Adom and emergency rescue organizations were called to the scene and administered resuscitation efforts on the toddler. He was subsequently evacuated in critical condition to the city's Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where physicians were forced to pronounce him dead.
