London: Over 130 Arrested at Protest Supporting Palestine Action

British police arrested dozens of demonstrators outside the US Embassy in London for voicing support for a designated terrorist group.

London police arrested more than 130 demonstrators over the weekend during a protest outside the United States Embassy in the British capital, Walla and The Jerusalem Post reported. According to Walla, 139 people were detained.

The demonstration was organized by the activist group Defend Our Juries to protest the British government's decision to outlaw the pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action and designate it as a terrorist organization.

London's Metropolitan Police stated that most of the demonstrators were arrested on suspicion of expressing support for a banned organization. Further details have not yet been released.
