Manhunt Underway for Suspect in Holon Bomb Blast; Police Probe 'Work Accident'

Police are searching for a crime-linked suspect who fled the scene of a blast in Holon on a scooter, which injured a teen bystander.

Israel Police are conducting a manhunt for a suspect known to law enforcement and linked to an organized crime group following an explosive device blast in a residential courtyard in Holon this morning, ynet and Kikar HaShabbat reported.

According to the reports, the explosion occurred in the courtyard of a relative of the intended criminal target, who was not harmed in the incident. Eyewitnesses reported that following the blast, the suspect fled on an electric scooter or was picked up from the scene by a scooter rider. Police are investigating whether the blast was an operational mishap or "work accident," noting that the injured teenager was inside a sukkah and has no ties to the dispute.
