Meta Unveils Tamagotchi-Shaped AI Device and New Smart Glasses

Meta has unveiled a lineup of artificial intelligence hardware devices, seeking to strengthen its foothold in the market for consumer gadgets beyond traditional smartphones.

According to reports by the South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo and the Luxembourg Times, the company introduced an AI device named Charm, featuring a form factor reminiscent of a Tamagotchi. Meta also revealed smart glasses under a special Lisa Edition label.

The rollout comes amid intensifying competition among technology firms to develop personal hardware integrated with artificial intelligence for everyday use. Further details regarding product pricing and retail release dates have not yet been disclosed.
