Netanyahu and Smotrich in Emergency Meeting: 'We Could Lose'
Netanyahu and Smotrich met with local council heads following turnout figures, warning against wasting votes on minor right-wing slates.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister Bezalel Smotrich held an urgent consultation and an emergency gathering with dozens of local council heads amid voter turnout data in Israel's 26th Knesset elections, Channel 14 and news website Srugim reported.
During the meeting, aimed at rallying right-wing voters, the two leaders issued a joint statement warning that the right-wing bloc could lose the election. According to Srugim, Netanyahu and Smotrich branded Avigdor Liberman "fake right" and urged voters not to back slates projected to fall short of the electoral threshold, including Ofer Winter's party, cautioning that voting for them is a lost cause.
Further updated turnout figures for these hours have not yet been released.
