Netanyahu-Hegseth Meeting Held at Ovda Airbase with Katz Present

New details reveal that the meeting between the US defense secretary and the prime minister took place at an airbase in southern Israel alongside defense officials.

The meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was held at Ovda Airbase in southern Israel, Axios and Channel 7 reported. Defense Minister Israel Katz and National Security Adviser Shmuel Ben Ezra also took part in the discussions.

According to Axios, US fighter jets and aerial refueling aircraft are deployed at Ovda, and Hegseth met with American troops stationed at the base during his visit.

The Pentagon and the Israeli Embassy declined to comment on the reports, and the Prime Minister's Office did not immediately respond. Further details regarding the content of the talks have not yet been released.
