Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed during a visit to the Tel Nof Airbase that there are indications Israel's enemies may attempt an attack in the run-up to the upcoming elections. Addressing adversaries, Netanyahu warned that Israel's long arm will reach them anywhere and at any time, ynet reported.

Following the remarks, Yashar party leader Gadi Eisenkot called on Netanyahu to brief opposition leader Yair Lapid on the matter. According to The Jerusalem Post, Eisenkot urged the briefing to ensure the claim reflects a genuine security threat rather than a political maneuver.
