Opposition Leaders Meet to Coordinate Ahead of Elections

Five Israeli opposition leaders met on Saturday night at Yair Lapid's home in Tel Aviv to establish strategic coordination ahead of the upcoming elections, according to reports by ynet and The Jerusalem Post. The meeting was attended by Lapid, Naftali Bennett, Gadi Eisenkot, Avigdor Liberman, and Yair Golan, while Benny Gantz was not invited to participate.

According to ynet and JDN, the leaders signed a joint document of principles declaring that their overarching goal is to form a new government. Under the framework, they agreed to work to increase voter turnout, divide target audiences, and halt mutual attacks within the bloc, while choosing not to agree on a joint candidate for prime minister at this stage.
