Pakistan strikes targets in Afghanistan; Taliban reports civilian deaths

Pakistan's air force carried out strikes against targets inside Afghanistan on Thursday. According to reports from the Interfax news agency and France 24, Pakistani Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that the operation was precise and directed solely at military sites, following drone attacks launched toward a Pakistani border post.

Conversely, a spokesperson for the Taliban government denied involvement in the drone strikes. As reported by France 24, Afghan officials stated that ten sites were struck across southern and eastern provinces, leaving four civilians dead.
