Passenger Who Stormed Flydubai Cockpit: 'I Choked the Attacker and Pulled the Controls'

Yaniv Hayon, one of the passengers who stormed the cockpit of the Flydubai flight that made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia, has landed at Ben Gurion Airport and recounted the struggle inside the aircraft, news outlets ynet and Behadrey Haredim reported. Hayon, who arrived in Israel with bloodstains on his shirt, met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the airport.

According to the reports, Hayon recounted seizing the attacker, choking him, and pulling the plane's controls after the pilot attempted to smash instruments to disable the aircraft. Outlet ynet noted that at least three other Israelis took part in subduing the assailant inside the cockpit.
