Report: Former Mossad Agent Assisted Flavio Bolsonaro's Escape from Brazil

A former Mossad agent who became a naturalized US citizen assisted Brazilian Senator Flavio Bolsonaro in fleeing Brazil for the United States via Argentina, in violation of a court order barring him from leaving the country, Walla and The Jerusalem Post reported, citing CNN Brazil.

According to investigative findings by Brazilian authorities, the man arrived in Brazil on October 19, ahead of the presidential election runoff in which Bolsonaro was defeated by President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and accompanied the senator from Brasilia into Argentina.

The identity of the former intelligence operative has not been disclosed, and further details regarding the affair have not yet been released.
