Reports: Israel Providing Intelligence to Saudi Arabia in Fight Against Houthis

Defense officials confirmed that Israel continues to supply Saudi Arabia with intelligence through US mediation to counter Houthi rebels in Yemen.

Israel continues to provide intelligence assistance to Saudi Arabia for military operations against Houthi rebels in Yemen through United States mediation, The Jerusalem Post and Israeli news website Srugim reported, citing senior defense officials.

According to the reports, despite the lack of formal diplomatic relations and relative calm between the countries, Israel has become a key intelligence source for Riyadh. A defense official noted that Saudi strikes are weakening Houthi military capabilities while simultaneously providing Israel with valuable intelligence. Further details regarding the scope of the cooperation have not yet been released.
