US Vice President JD Vance reached out via a direct letter to senior Iranian official Mohsen Rezaei under the direction of President Donald Trump, news outlets ynet and JDN reported.

According to the reports, the appeal to Rezaei, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council and an associate of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, was intended to explore common ground and the potential resumption of negotiations, seeking to avoid another round of strikes and armed escalation.
