US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has ordered the Iranian delegation to the UN General Assembly to leave the country, as reported by Maariv and The Jerusalem Post. The demand came following stalled indirect negotiations between the sides during their stay in New York.

The Iranian delegation included Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. An American official cited by Maariv confirmed the move, while outlet Behadrey Haredim reported that the order was accompanied by military strike threats from US President Donald Trump. Further details regarding the timing of the delegation's departure have not yet been released.
