US President Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision regarding strikes on Iran and prefers a diplomatic solution, though the military option remains on the table, Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters, as reported by Walla, The Jerusalem Post, and The National.

Rubio noted that Trump has set no timeframe for talks, emphasizing that the United States is already assisting its allies in the region and is prepared to carry out a successful military operation if necessary.

Meanwhile, Qatari-mediated contacts continue in an effort to prevent a regional escalation. Further details have not yet been released.
