Sa'ar Warns Israel Will Retaliate Against Hostile Countries

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar warned that Israel will retaliate against countries taking hostile diplomatic measures against it, The Jerusalem Post reported. According to Sa'ar, Britain risks losing its influence in Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.

The remarks follow the curtailment of British consular operations in East Jerusalem, as reported also by Greek news website Naftemporiki, which came in response to sanctions imposed by London on West Bank settlements.
