Shin Bet Informs Yashar Party It Will Not Secure Eisenkot at This Stage

The Shin Bet internal security service has informed the Yashar party that it does not intend to provide personal security for party chairman Gadi Eisenkot at this time, news outlets Srugim and Behadrey Haredim reported.

According to a report by Kikar HaShabbat, the Shin Bet rejected the request to assign security to Eisenkot despite a recommendation from the advisory committee and an assessment of a high threat level. Conversely, as reported by Srugim, the security service presented a series of measures that will be taken to provide security solutions for heads of political parties.
