Shooting Outside School in Western Turkey Leaves at Least Seven Injured

Between seven and eight people, including students, were injured Tuesday morning after an armed man opened fire outside a vocational high school in the Turgutlu district of Turkey's western Manisa province. According to Greek outlet iefimerida, two of the wounded are in serious condition.

The motives behind the attack remain unclear. Conflicting reports emerged regarding the gunman: while iefimerida reported that he fled the scene and sparked a police manhunt, Romanian outlet G4Media reported that local authorities had already detained him.
