Suspect in Multi-Million Shekel Embezzlement Extradited from Portugal to Israel

Eyal Rosen, a former manager at public firm Gibuy Holdings, has been extradited from Portugal to Israel on suspicion of embezzling millions of shekels from the company, Globes and Channel 14 reported. According to the reports, Rosen is suspected of stealing funds estimated at around nine million shekels.

Authorities suspect Rosen carried out the theft through sophisticated fraudulent schemes and subsequently laundered the stolen proceeds. It is further alleged that he concealed his illicit actions, causing misleading information to be included in the public company's regulatory filings to investors.
