US President Donald Trump is open to the idea of holding a trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping next month, The Jerusalem Post reported. According to The Washington Post, Russia proposed that the summit between the three leaders take place in China.
Reports indicate that Trump is seeking to warm ties with Moscow and Beijing amid growing alignment between the two powers. While such an initiative could help reduce global tensions, it has also raised concerns among traditional US allies.
