Trump: Saudi Arabia Joining Abraham Accords Back on the Table

The US president claimed Riyadh welcomes Israeli assistance against the Houthis and that talks on joining the normalization accords have resumed.

US President Donald Trump stated that the possibility of Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords is back on the table, "perhaps more than ever," outlets Walla and Maariv reported.

According to Trump, Israel is assisting the kingdom in its fight against the Houthi rebels in Yemen, and Saudi Arabia is glad to receive Israeli aid. The remarks were made during a press gaggle before departing for a campaign rally in Georgia.

An official response from Saudi Arabia or Israel regarding the American president's statements has not yet been released.
