Trump Warns US Could Face Iran Alone Without Netanyahu
The US president doubled down on his endorsement of Netanyahu, warning that an alternative Israeli leadership would leave Washington isolated against Iran.
US President Donald Trump elaborated on his endorsement of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of Israel's October 27 election, The Jerusalem Post and Greek newspaper Ta Nea reported.
According to the reports, Trump stated that Netanyahu "will never let you down" and warned that alternative Israeli leaders would leave Washington to face Iran alone.
Additionally, Trump argued that Iran has suffered systematic destruction both militarily and economically, warning that if the regime in Tehran does not quickly alter its course, the United States will soon finish the task.
