UAE Confirms Netanyahu Visit; Reports: Saudi Officials Attended Talks on Iran

The UAE's state news agency confirmed Benjamin Netanyahu's meeting with President Mohamed bin Zayed, while reports revealed Saudi representatives also attended regional talks on Iran.

The United Arab Emirates has officially confirmed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Abu Dhabi and his meeting with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed, as reported by Emirati state news agency WAM and The Jerusalem Post. According to the reports, the two leaders discussed bilateral ties.

Meanwhile, according to ynet, representatives from Saudi Arabia and other regional nations also attended the gathering, which focused on countering Iran and its regional proxies, primarily the Houthis in Yemen, following a Saudi request for Israeli assistance. The report noted that the UAE's official statement mentioned only the meeting between Netanyahu and bin Zayed, publishing no photographs and omitting any denial regarding alleged pre-October 7 warnings.
