British Prime Minister Andy Burnham stated that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is likely behind a bomb plot against the RAF Fairford airbase, The Jerusalem Post reported. Burnham emphasized that the UK will not tolerate threats on its territory and will act firmly against Tehran's use of criminal networks, utilizing its full range of powers.

In contrast, Iran's ambassador to the United Kingdom denied any Iranian involvement in the affair, news outlet Walla reported. According to the Iranian news agency IRNA, Tehran also expressed readiness to cooperate with British authorities in investigating the incident.
