Ukraine: Six Killed, Including Baby and Mother, in Russian Drone Strike on Park

Six people were killed and 15 wounded after a Russian drone hit a park in the Kharkiv region, amid mounting concern over Ukraine's air defense supplies.

A Russian drone struck a central park in the town of Nova Vodolaha in Ukraine's Kharkiv region, killing six people, ynet and Walla reported, citing local authorities. Among those killed were a 14-month-old baby girl named Angelina, who was struck in her stroller, and her mother, who later died of her injuries in hospital. An 11-year-old girl was also killed.

According to the reports, at least 15 people were wounded in the strike, including seven children. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared footage from the scene and called for increased air defense assistance to protect civilians.

The attack comes amid reports that the United States is holding back shipments of Patriot missiles, and ahead of a planned meeting in Oslo between Zelensky and Donald Trump's envoys, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff.
