Unusual Alert on ASOS App: Hackers Claim Breach of Company Systems

Users worldwide, including in Israel, received an in-app notification claiming a system takeover and threatening data leaks.

Numerous users of online fashion retailer ASOS, including customers in Israel, received an unusual notification directly through the company's official app on Tuesday, claiming that hackers had breached its information systems. The message also included a threat to leak data, Arutz 7 and Globes reported.

At this stage, ASOS has not officially confirmed that a breach of its databases occurred. According to the reports, it remains unclear what information, if any, was accessed by the attackers, and further details regarding the source of the message and the scope of the incident have not yet been released.
