WhatsApp Begins Rolling Out Message Scheduling Feature

Messaging platform WhatsApp has begun rolling out a new feature in beta allowing users to schedule messages ahead of time, Israeli news outlets Arutz 7 and i24NEWS reported. The move comes after years in which users seeking the capability had to rely on third-party applications.

According to the reports, the new functionality enables the advance scheduling of text messages, photos, and videos in both individual chats and group conversations. At present, the tool is being tested among beta users, and an official release date for the broader global user base has not yet been announced.
