World Launches Banking ID Suite and Deepfake Detection Tool

The digital identity network World has launched a new suite of tools tailored for the banking sector to combat fraud and deepfakes, media outlets The Block and Unchained reported.

The financial package includes a video-call human-verification system, an identity wallet, and verification tools for AI agents. As part of the rollout, the company also made its Zoom deepfake verification check generally available.

According to the reports, four design partners are already exploring practical applications for the technology within their institutions. The names of the banks and further details regarding the partnerships have not yet been released.
