Zagreb Footballer Arrested on Croatian Motorway with 14 kg of Marijuana

A 26-year-old footballer from Zagreb was arrested on Croatia's A1 motorway after roughly 14 kilograms of marijuana were found in the Mercedes he was driving, according to reports by Jutarnji list and Index.hr. The drugs were divided into 20 packages hidden in two sports bags and were allegedly intended for sale.

A court ordered the driver held in investigative detention. The reports noted that both of the footballer's parents are police officers, with his father holding a managerial post in the force. Further details regarding his identity have not been released.
