Zelenskyy to Meet UK Prime Minister Burnham in London

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham is scheduled to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in London today, news outlet Walla and British newspaper The Guardian reported.

According to the reports, the meeting is set to take place after Burnham faces Leader of the Opposition Kemi Badenoch during Prime Minister's Questions in parliament. Walla noted that discussions between the two leaders will focus on efforts to expand military assistance to Kyiv, amid intensifying Russian strikes across Ukraine.

The meeting also comes against the backdrop of heightened tensions between London and Moscow, days after Burnham accused Russia of meddling in the 2016 Brexit referendum and following warnings from Britain's security service MI5 regarding Russian activity across Europe.
