Fuel Prices in Israel to Hit All-Time High of NIS 8.27 per Liter

The price of self-service gasoline will jump by 52 agorot to NIS 8.27 per liter starting Thursday, Maariv and JDN reported. This marks an all-time high for fuel prices in Israel.

According to the reports, the sharp price hike follows a surge of approximately 13% in global gasoline prices alongside widespread turmoil in energy markets. Factors behind the increase include fears of disruptions to crude supplies amid tensions around the Strait of Hormuz, the widening crisis involving the Houthis, and damage to oil refineries in Russia.
