Netanyahu on Flydubai Flight Drama: Passengers and Crew Averted Disaster

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the drama aboard the Flydubai flight that diverted to Saudi Arabia, characterizing it as a "serious security incident." According to Netanyahu, passengers and crew members succeeded in preventing a major catastrophe after one of the pilots stabbed his colleague in an attempt to crash the aircraft with its occupants, network N1 and BBC Persian reported.

According to the reports, Netanyahu confirmed that the assailant pilot was taken into custody. Meanwhile, Spanish newspaper El Mundo reported that Israeli authorities are investigating the incident as a terrorist attack.
