Three Years Since Oct. 7: Memorial Ceremonies Held Across Israel

Israel is marking three years since the Hamas terrorist attack of October 7, 2023, with memorial ceremonies held across the country, news channel i24NEWS and Romanian outlet G4Media reported.

According to G4Media, commemorative events began precisely at 06:29, the moment the assault was launched, which left approximately 1,200 dead and 251 taken hostage. At that hour, survivors and families of victims gathered at Kibbutz Re'im.

Brazilian newspaper Folha de S.Paulo noted that the commemoration comes as the country heads toward elections heavily shaped by the memory of the events of October 7.
